Voting is now open in the Town & City Gift Cards Favourite UK Local Business Awards.

The awards were set up to recognise the importance of shopping locally and supporting local independent businesses which play such a key role in the life and economy of every town and city.

And of course we'd LOVE it if you could nominate Brighton Gin! Everyone who nominates goes into a prize draw to win a £1000 Town & City Gift Card to spend in the area where you live (no, you don't have to live in Brighton!).

It's free to enter and if you'd like a reminder about what Brighton Gin does, we're a small-scale business and we distill, bottle, label and wax our gin all by hand, as we've done since the very first day. Brighton Gin uses ethically sourced botanicals and we strive to reduce our impact on the environment by making local deliveries by electric bike, and offering a discount for gin lovers to refill your empty bottles.

On top of that we support local good causes, and we're Sussex's longest-established gin distillery so what's not to like?
