Come on down to Bottom's Rest, the pub run by Brighton Gin, and get stuck into learning a new skill and drinking some delicious Brighton Gin based creations. There's no better way to 'shake up' your Tuesday night!

In the Masterclass

Hosted by BG's very own Rachel, who will greet you with a delicious Brighton Gin and Tonic before having a crack at making cocktails! We'll give you all the equipment and ingredients you need to make 2 of our favourite shaken drinks and to learn some bartending tricks!

Both cocktails will be gin-based and vegan friendly, and naturally, you'll be able to drink a full serve of each one!

We'll be pairing guests up so each of you will make a batch of 2 of the same cocktail recipe and your partner will create the other. 

Class Duration

Your class will last approximately 60 minutes and you're more than welcome to stay in the pub to keep the good times rolling afterwards!

Getting There

Bottom's Rest is located at 16 Lower Market St, Hove BN3 1AT just behind The Old Market! There two nearby bus stops (Brunswick Place & Norfolk Square) on Western Road with buses coming regularly from Hove and Brighton. Unfortunately there is minimal parking due to the pub being in a residential and permitted area. 

Accessibility

Terms & Conditions

Over 18s only; we have a Challenge 25 policy. We can only accommodate customers with advanced bookings. Please note that we require a minimum number of  6 attendees to run a cocktail masterclass and if we are unable to reach this number, the class will not go ahead. In this instance, we will contact you to offer you an alternative date.

Here at Brighton Gin we run our events ourselves! The same small team who work in the distillery all week also run the tours, gin schools and masterclasses which is just one of the things which make our events so special! Due to this we can only do guest events on a small scale which means that any no-shows or last minute cancellations present a real issue for us.

Please note that we are unable to offer refunds, but we will try and re-schedule with 5 days' notice if you are not able to attend the date booked. As such, any absences or cancellations less than 7 days before the date will incur the full charge and not be rebookable. 

You may transfer your booking to another person or buy a ticket as a gift, but we will need notification of that person’s name at least 24 hours before the event. Please email events@brightongin.com to notify us of any additional names or changes.
